As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail and entertainment location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and professionalism will support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout assigned areas, and address situations with integrity and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting as directed by site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and amusement location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor activity within the location, identifying and reporting suspicious or unusual behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Assist patrons and employees with general inquiries and facilitate a positive experience within the location.
• Collaborate with client staff and other Allied Universal personnel to support a secure environment.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
