As a Security Officer - Retail Center Patrol - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a retail environment, you will patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure atmosphere for customers and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming experience for everyone at the location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by assisting customers, employees, and/or visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregularities.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Interact professionally with store personnel and the public, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter theft and other unwanted behaviors.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with local authorities and following established procedures.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports, logs, and other required documentation as directed by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
