Job Description


As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Golden, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an armed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within a food and beverage production location. You will help to deter security-related incidents through visible patrols while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors. This role includes driving responsibilities as you navigate the site as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor and control access points for personnel and vehicles, verifying credentials and maintaining awareness of site activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards within the food and beverage production environment.
  • Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement as needed during emergency or critical situations.
  • Complete thorough and accurate incident reports and log all security-related activity as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
