As a Security Officer- Hotel Site Patrol - Part Time in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations throughout the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with staff and guests as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the hotel premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, maintenance issues, or hazards encountered while on patrol.
  • Support hotel staff and guests with security-related matters and provide assistance as directed by Allied Universal or site leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Remain visible and approachable throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence to guests and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
