As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a major retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests and staff. By remaining highly visible and conducting regular patrols, you help to deter security-related incidents and respond to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Help to deter unwanted activity and promote a positive environment by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed security-related protocols as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence to assist with loss prevention and/or unauthorized activity within the retail location.
• Complete security-related reports and document observations during patrols and incidents.
• Communicate with team members and site management to relay information about incidents, concerns, and/or potential risks.
• Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client site-specific instructions while executing security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a Level III armed certification for roles in Texas.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
