Job Description


As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Media in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence. Your routine patrols and visibility will contribute to a secure environment, and your customer service skills will be key in supporting everyone on site. This position requires driving responsibilities, allowing you to cover multiple areas and provide rapid support where needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to unique aspects of a tech, media, and telecom environment.
  • Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns observed during patrols or while on site.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the site management for the specific location.
  • Assist with access control and verification of credentials as required throughout the property.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
