Job Description


As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Bilingual in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order and security-related standards.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and identify any unusual situations.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Support Allied Universal management and client staff in emergency response activities as required by the healthcare location and its protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • At least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
