As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist - Tech in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, performing routine patrols, and maintaining a strong presence throughout the site. Your attention to detail and commitment to customer service will support a welcoming and secure environment for all personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to observe for unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards using Allied Universal procedures.
• Support emergency response activities by assisting with evacuations or providing guidance as needed, based on location-specific plans.
• Collaborate with site personnel to promote a secure environment in the tech, media, and telecom setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Willingness to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
