As a Security Professional - Corporate Institution Patrol Driver in Bloomfield, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a financial institution setting, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will play a key role in supporting a positive experience for those on site. This position requires driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents during each shift.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding any issues or incidents that arise on site.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Remain alert and observant to changes in the environment, reporting any suspicious activity or unusual circumstances appropriately.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
