Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, providing a visible security-related presence at a commercial real estate location. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter potential incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This armed post requires a valid armed guard card or license. As part of our agile and reliable team, you will demonstrate integrity and put people first as you support a welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and staff.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter and report suspicious behavior.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports and communicate information to supervisors and/or law enforcement as necessary.
  • Assist with emergency response protocols, including evacuation or lockdown procedures if required by the site's policies.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times while representing Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or Armed Guard License as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
