As a Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution setting, you will regularly monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and employees, providing outstanding customer service and communication as part of a dedicated team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and protect people and property.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activities as required by site procedures.
• Assist employees, visitors, and/or customers with security-related needs and inquiries.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
