As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol Team in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence and attentiveness contribute to a positive experience for visitors, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and to observe for unusual conditions.
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions and information, maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter inappropriate behavior.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Work closely with location management and/or law enforcement as required in the event of emergencies or incidents.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any potential security-related concerns to appropriate Allied Universal personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
