Job Description


As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol in Clinton, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an automotive environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a positive experience for everyone on site, while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the automotive facility in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe for and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related concerns within the automotive environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or staff while maintaining a presence throughout the automotive location.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the site regarding security-related responsibilities.
  • Assist with access control and enforce site rules as directed by Allied Universal and/or the site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
