Job Description


As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Dispatch Driver in Carrollton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will play an integral role in monitoring activity, coordinating responses, and supporting security-related operations. You will utilize communication tools and technology to help to deter incidents and maintain a strong presence across the site. Your focus will be on providing excellent customer service while upholding our core values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required to perform your duties throughout the location.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and coordinate incoming and outgoing communications using dispatch systems to support security-related operations at the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Receive, evaluate, and relay information about incidents, emergencies, and/or requests for assistance to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of security-related activities, calls, and incidents for future reference and reporting.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with on-site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures, following established protocols in response to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
  • Provide customer service to individuals at the location by responding to inquiries and offering information as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal team members by assisting with coordination of patrols and response efforts as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
