As a Security Professional - Access Gate in HOPE, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal in a prominent food and beverage location, you will monitor designated areas and conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service while responding to incidents and interacting with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe any unusual conditions.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
  • Document and report any incidents, observations, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with client personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to support security-related objectives.
  • Remain visible and approachable to those at the location to provide assistance and help to deter unwanted behavior.
  • Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements while performing post duties at the food and beverage facility.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
