What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgement and communication skills.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and support a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help support loss prevention and assist with access control as required.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, suspicious behavior, or policy violations within the retail environment to appropriate management or law enforcement as necessary.
• Interact professionally with store employees, visitors, and/or customers, providing guidance or assistance as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Document all incidents and relevant observations in accordance with company and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification is required for Texas only.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
