As a Security Officer - Media Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a strong presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves providing outstanding customer service, communicating with building occupants, and responding to situations with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter of the tech, media, and telecom environment to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or hazards.
• Monitor for any suspicious activity or security-related concerns, promptly reporting observations or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control measures by verifying credentials and/or assisting with visitor management processes.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal personnel regarding security-related matters and site procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
