As a Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations to help create a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you perform routine patrols and stay visible throughout the area. You will also deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with clients and visitors, and represent our company values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and along its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or other designated areas as required.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any other required documentation as directed by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
  • Interact with visitors, employees, and/or contractors in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance or information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
