What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to Allied Universal management and/or designated client contacts.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors with general inquiries and direct them as needed within the retail environment.
• Support emergency evacuation procedures or drills as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with retail staff and local law enforcement as required to address security-related concerns or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
