Job Description


As a Security Professional - Auto Industry Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned auto industry locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your visible presence and professional communication skills will support a welcoming atmosphere while upholding access control and responding to various situations. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including areas such as parking lots, manufacturing facilities, and offices commonly found at automotive locations.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any observations promptly to Allied Universal management and/or the client’s representatives as required.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or activities by maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned location.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident and activity reports in accordance with Allied Universal’s procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors at the location to provide assistance and enforce site-specific guidelines.
  • Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and working collaboratively with internal and/or external resources.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
