As a Security Officer - Utilities Access Control Driver in Nederland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a utilities environment, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role is vital in fostering a secure atmosphere, supporting staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service. This position may require driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or irregularities according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with all individuals at the location, offering assistance as needed and/or directing them as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
