As a Security Officer - Unarmed Facility Patrol in Lawrence, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas at the location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter incidents and observe for unusual activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and assist individuals as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and on-site personnel to address concerns and uphold site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• It is preferred that candidates are able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• It is preferred that candidates are comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• It is preferred that candidates have CPR and/or First Aid certification.
• It is preferred that candidates have customer service experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
