What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in a retail environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted or criminal activity and assist with maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Assist with access control and verify identities of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policy.
• Support loss prevention efforts by being present and attentive in high-traffic and sensitive areas within the retail location.
• Provide information and assistance to customers, employees, and visitors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies and procedures while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
