As a Security Officer - Cultural Institution Patrol Driver in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a cultural institution environment, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. Your presence will reassure guests and staff, and you will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including surrounding areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location to help to deter potential disruptions and to assist with access control.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
• Collaborate with staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and contribute to a secure environment in a cultural institution setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
