As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Victorville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail and mall environment, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols throughout the location and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving position, requiring you to navigate the property as you interact with guests, tenants, and staff, delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the location.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with directions and general inquiries.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and log all patrol activities as required by Allied Universal and location protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
