Job Description


As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Pryor, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to promote a sense of security, and provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. This is a driving post, giving you the opportunity to actively engage with various areas of the site and make a positive impact every day. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a logistics and distribution environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter potential incidents within the facility.
  • Complete logs, reports, and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
  • Assist visitors, contractors, and employees with site access in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Remain alert to environmental and operational conditions that could impact security-related operations at the location.
  • Participate in emergency response activities as needed, including evacuations and other site-specific actions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
