As a Security Professional - Armed Government Center - Full Time in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will actively monitor and patrol a dynamic government location. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, property damage, or hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Interact with the public and/or staff in a courteous and respectful manner while upholding site-specific protocols.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and verifying identification as required by site procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal and local law enforcement personnel during emergency or incident responses.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
