As a Security Officer - Retail Center Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at this bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests, tenants, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for any unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control, including verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Work closely with location management and Allied Universal team members to support the needs of the site and address concerns as they arise.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by site procedures.
• Provide support during emergencies and/or evacuations as directed by site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
