As a Security Officer - Access Control Transportation in DALLAS, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits and conducting routine patrols at a busy transportation location. You will be visible throughout your shift, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication to all employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the transportation facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify any unusual conditions.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
• Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
• Remain alert to potential security-related concerns within the transportation environment and report any suspicious behavior or activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
