As a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrols in Framingham, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report on security-related matters, including any unusual activity or maintenance needs, to site management and/or Allied Universal supervisors.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information, demonstrating a professional and approachable presence at all times.
  • Maintain awareness of access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and support the security-related needs of the healthcare environment.
  • Work in varying environments and conditions specific to the healthcare location, adapting to changing circumstances as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
