As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for customers and staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe the premises for unusual behavior, security-related hazards, or prohibited items and report findings according to site procedures.
• Assist with crowd management and help to deter theft or other issues common in a retail environment by maintaining a visible presence.
• Work closely with store management and Allied Universal supervisors to communicate security-related issues and follow up as needed.
• Document incidents and security-related activities clearly and accurately as required by site and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
