As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver Chemical in Orange, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and monitoring assigned areas. Your presence will support a secure environment while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with individuals onsite. This driving position allows you to engage directly with team members and visitors, making a positive impact through visible patrols and prompt response to situations. What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, working with others as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activities and report any findings to appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities by assisting with evacuations and/or other protocols as directed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain awareness of the specific requirements and potential hazards associated with a chemical or petrochemical environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
