As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Patrol Driver in Queens, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic aviation and defense location, where your role will involve monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be highly visible, providing exceptional customer service while communicating proactively with visitors and team members. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license as you move throughout the site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the aerospace or defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities identified during patrols or while on post.
• Support access control measures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols.
• Maintain clear and concise communication with Allied Universal team members and site management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
