As a Security Officer - Chocolate Plant Patrol and Access Control in Hershey, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and your visible presence throughout a dynamic food and beverage location. You will engage with visitors and staff, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while monitoring assigned areas. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the food and beverage facility to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter loss, theft, and/or other security-related incidents affecting personnel or property.
• Document observations and report any incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and verifying credentials of employees, contractors, and/or visitors as required by site policies.
• Provide support during emergency response situations, including assisting with evacuations and communicating with emergency personnel when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
