Job Description


As a Security Officer - Unarmed Logistics Patrol in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your visible presence helps promote a positive atmosphere for staff and visitors, while your customer service skills contribute to seamless daily operations. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support site operations.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Assist with access control and/or visitor management as needed to support site security-related procedures.
  • Support site personnel and visitors by providing information and general assistance, promoting a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
