Job Description


As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Required in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to all on site. This is a driving post, so you will use company vehicles to cover large areas while remaining visible and approachable. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, delivering excellent customer service and supporting access control procedures. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols for manufacturing and industrial environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, observing for any irregularities and helping to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while performing assigned duties.
  • Document all incidents and observations as required by site and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
