What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site policies at the front desk within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and manage access control for all persons entering and exiting the facility, verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of visitor activity, incidents, and other relevant information as required by site policies.
• Communicate professionally with facility staff, visitors, and Allied Universal personnel to relay information and report security-related concerns.
• Support the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the front desk area.
• Remain alert to the environment and activities occurring in the lobby and entry area, promptly reporting any unusual or prohibited behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being at least 21 years of age is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
