As a Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrols Weekend in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with all individuals on site. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and client representatives.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entrances, exits, and visitor movement within the facility.
  • Support emergency response efforts on-site, including guiding visitors and staff during drills or actual events.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports and logs of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
