As a Security Professional - Corporate Office Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated tech and media locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or security-related concerns within the tech and telecommunications environment.
  • Report and document any security-related incidents, observations or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related matters and maintain a professional presence.
  • Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
