What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor the environment for unusual activity and report any observations or incidents in accordance with company and client protocols.
• Interact professionally with personnel and visitors, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Support access control measures by observing entrances, exits, and restricted areas, helping to maintain authorized access throughout the location.
• Complete necessary documentation, logs, and reports related to daily activities, incidents, and observations while maintaining confidentiality.
• Participate in training sessions and briefings to remain updated on site-specific procedures and protocols in an aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
