Job Description


As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with visitors and tenants to provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle while on patrol. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential issues.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and/or irregularities according to company and client procedures.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the commercial real estate location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to tenants and visitors.
  • Work collaboratively with property management and tenants to address security-related concerns and provide information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
