What You'll Do:

• Assist with controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and patrons by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond in a calm and problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs within the location.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal protocols and client expectations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, security-related incidents, and daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
