What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help address concerns at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure atmosphere.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and providing directions or information to guests as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as directed during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting observations, incidents, and actions taken during shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
