As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Foot in Mission Viejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for residents and guests. You will remain visible throughout the property, provide exceptional customer service, handle access control, and communicate clearly with those you encounter. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately in emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report suspicious behavior and/or hazards as outlined in post orders.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.
• Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and property management, providing assistance as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and coordinating with local authorities and/or property management when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
