As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Rowland Heights, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a prominent cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the location and respond promptly to various situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at cultural institution locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside and around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Collaborate with staff and visitors to support a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining awareness of surroundings and potential issues.
• Assist in access control by monitoring entrances and exits, checking identification as needed, and providing directions or information to visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
