As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking action as necessary based on established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents or hazards encountered during patrols to Allied Universal and/or client management as directed.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and communicate any concerns regarding security-related matters to the appropriate personnel.
• Participate in emergency response activities, including evacuations and/or lockdowns, in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification required for positions in Texas only.
• CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
