What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond calmly and with problem-solving skills to incidents and critical situations that arise at the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to help to deter theft and/or disturbances within the retail environment.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, and/or security-related concerns according to company protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
• Adhere to all site-specific procedures and protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and the client.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III armed certification in Texas is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
