As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Fayetteville, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for irregularities and address potential issues promptly.
• Document security-related incidents, observations, and activities in daily logs and/or incident reports as required.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during emergency response activities, following protocols and directions.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter inappropriate or illegal behavior at the food and beverage location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
