As a Security Officer Full Time in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer supporting a dynamic technology-focused location. In this role, you will monitor critical systems, coordinate communication among team members, and help to deter potential security-related incidents by maintaining awareness of all activity on site. What You'll Do:

• Monitor incoming and outgoing communications and dispatch appropriate personnel and/or resources as needed for incidents or routine activities.
• Maintain clear and accurate logs of all security-related calls, incidents, and dispatches.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Coordinate with onsite personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities throughout the location.
• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by addressing inquiries and delivering security-related assistance as appropriate.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and client contacts regarding incidents and/or emergencies, following established protocols.
• Remain attentive to security-related alerts, alarms, and/or notifications, and dispatch resources in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Support regular communication with security-related patrol teams and other site personnel to maintain awareness of ongoing activities in the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
