What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to individuals at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate emergency response protocols.
  • Monitor the location for suspicious activities or potential threats and report findings in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
  • Interact with members of the public and/or employees in a professional manner, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Document incidents and observations accurately for Allied Universal records and client reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid law enforcement officer license is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
